INSTALLATION MODES
Lyon RF90I4FHOOD can be installed in a Recirculation Mode or in an Extraction Mode.
What is Recirculation Mode?
The air is drawn in and cleaned first by the grease filter and then by a charcoal filter to remove any moisture and smells before the air is reintroduced into your kitchen. Ensure a normal and comfortable room climate (humidity of 45–60%), e.g. by opening natural ventilation openings or using domestic ventilation systems.
**In Recirculation Mode, it is highly recommended that you install the recirculation kit for optimal performance of the Lyon RF90I4FHOOD in your kitchen.
What is Extraction Mode?
An extraction hood simply sends the air outside through an external wall. Extraction requires access to an external wall to place the vent. This can sometimes be a problem as certain kitchen layouts won't allow this.
