Just put this in a new renovation and it is working well. I really like the metal bar across the front because my place is a rental and I think it's a bit more robust. It's easy to operate and intuitive, I started using it without looking at any instructions.
It's not the most expensive model on the market, of course, so the lowest setting pulses on and off to maintain the really low heat. That is common with IKEA and all the lower priced cooktops though. I think you have to jump up in price considerably to avoid that. But, for the price, excellent so far!
